Epicure, world-class food in a sumptuous setting (Paris, France)

5153

SMALL BITE: Epicure is a triple Michelin-starred restaurant located in Le Bristol Paris, next to its famous French-style garden that diners can enjoy year-round.  Large bay windows bathe the dining room in natural light during the day to create a warm and inviting ambience.  Epicure is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

SIGNATURE DISHES: Head Chef Eric Frechon creates distinctive, creative dishes for all three meals, including blue lobster roasted in its shell and smoked; salmon from Cherbourg with green cabbage, Tandoori spices, ginger and lemon caviar; stuffed macaroni with black truffle, artichoke and duck foie gras; and chocolate sorbet infused with lemongrass.  All fish come from wild fisheries.

DISH FROM DINERS:  “Unequivocally one of the finest restaurants in the world.  Exquisite, creative dishes (such as a hen poached in a bladder  – with delicate textures and diverse, subtle flavors) were meticulously prepared and presented. The capstone: a profusion of macaroons, mysteriously wheeled to the table in what can only be described as a glutton’s tabernacle.”
