SMALL BITE: If you are looking for the quintessential Seattle experience, second only to the Space Needle, Six Seven restaurant at the Edgewater Hotel serves it up in heaping amounts: a spectacular view of Puget Sound, indoor and outdoor dining, views of downtown Seattle and snow-capped Mt. Rainier, and what else, but great coffee? Choose between breakfast, lunch and dinner — or its much acclaimed  brunch on the weekends. It doesn’t really matter. The food is so unbelievably good, you are sure to end up here for every meal of the day, eventually.

SIGNATURE DISHES: Start your day off with Roasted Tomato & Basil Benedict or the French Toast Inspiration of the Day; lunchtime diners will find it hard to choose between savory dishes like Seattle’s Favorite Mac & Cheese or Northwest Caesar Salad with Dungeness Crab. For dinner, grab a table next to the window to get a front-row seat to another beautiful Seattle sunset while dining on Cedar Plank Salmon or Grilled Kurobuta Pork Rack.  Just for fun, consider ordering the layered smoothie — its many colors will dazzle you!

THE DISH FROM DINERS: “My friend and I went here for a girls night out. We sat on the patio and the view is unbelievable. Our service and food were amazing. We had a wonderful time and it’s our new favorite place in Seattle!”

ABOUT EDGEWATER HOTEL:  Seattle’s ONLY waterfront hotel, the Edgewater is arguably one of the nicest places to relax and unwind in the city. It is certainly the one with the best view, anyway. Not only can you see Puget Sound from the lounge, bar, restaurant, and ocean-facing rooms, but you’re actually right on top of it, as part of the hotel and restaurant were built OVER the water. When you look out of the windows, you are so close to the water, it feels like you are on a boat. All rooms feature gas fireplaces, plush comforters, complimentary bath amenities, minibars, in-room coffee maker, data ports and of course, large windows that offer a picture-perfect view of Puget Sound or downtown Seattle, depending upon what side you’re facing.
