The chefs at Hard Rock Cafe ROCK! (South Lake Tahoe, California)

SMALL BITE:  The Hard Rock Café  in South Lake Tahoe has been rockin’ great food inside Harvey’s for nearly two decades. They serve casual American food, like nachos, salads, pastas and melt-in-your-mouth ribs — HONESTLY! You MUST try these! — but they are mostly known for their burgers. Nevada Magazine rated Hard Rock Café the #1 burger in the state.

SIGNATURE DISH: The Legendary Burger (practically begging you to eat it in the photo above).

THE DISH FROM DINERS: “We had a large party of 16 and the service was excellent. They refreshed their menu about eight months ago and there are many different drinks, as well as many new burgers. Everything was very good. But the best thing was the big ice cream chocolate brownie sundae.”

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Each Hard Rock Café has its own LOCAL Legendary Burger, too, usually based on what that city is famous for. In Lake Tahoe, it’s the Crawfish Burger, made of Italian Sausage, Shrimp and a Crawdad Patty. Only place to get this one is here!

ABOUT HARVEY’S LAKE TAHOE: If you’re going to South Lake Tahoe, Harvey’s is priced just right and ideally located within five minutes of the Heavenly Valley ski run, and a short walk across the street to Heavenly Village. The 740-room resort is the granddaddy of hotels in Lake Tahoe, as it was the first casino hotel built on the south shore in 1944. The hotel is also well known for attracting big-name entertainers, and draws visitors from every corner of the world for its acclaimed Summer Concert Series.
